Senior Picture Practice Layout.

  So I have been practicing for awhile on taking pictures with the intention of taking Krista's Senior pictures. We took these a few years ago at Blanford Nature Center. (Which is where we ended up doing some of Krista's senior pictures. Sadly the wagon was gone.) I got the paper for this layout in a value pack I found at a scrap book store while we were on vacation. It is called Autumn Splendor by Best Creations. I used Waxy Flax, Color-ready Garden Wooden Shapes, and Connection Club Rewards Rhinestones from CTMH. The burlap was from my stash and the charm was also from CTMH.

Cracks Me Up!

  This stamp is one that Kathy loaned me. This lady cracks me up! I got a Dylusions stamp set and I thought the sentiment went really well with the image.I believe the lady image is by Art Impressions. I colored it with my CTMH markers and my Copics. Then I added some wink Of Stella to make her dress shimmer.

Sorry MIA for so long- Back To Work!

Oh Man I am back to work and I am working seven days a week. Not to much crafty stuff going on. I have a bunch of stuff I made while I was off that I am working on finding the time to post. Also we were working on getting some senior pictures done, but we took a bunch last weekend so I think that is done. The last project I have been working on is a poster for senior night for Krista's swim team. I will try to post some pictures of these also.
 I bought this bow die awhile ago with a coupon from Hobby Lobby which is by Tim Holtz. The paper is from CTMH ( Dotty For You) and the purple is from my stash. The stamps are Sincere Expressions and Hope, Both by Close To My Heart. The shimmer trim is also by CTMH. I just love these colors together. Duckling Card.

We were not able to have a crop so this is what I decided I would do. Do you see the fun google eyes on the layout? I use last months SOTM to stamp the cat.

This 8 x 8 layout was the inspiration for the top layout. I made this one first for my son's book.

Segway Adventure In Chicago.

I am back to work now so I am going to try to share some of the things I did while I was off.  As you can see these pictures were taken quite a few years ago. We went on a girl scout trip to Chicago and got to take a Segway tour. The paper I used for this layout is Tommy and I used some stickers from Jolee. Please do not for get that Becky's party is open. Updated craft Room and Back To Work

Here are my puppy,s visiting my room.

 Here are a couple of up close pictures of the photo album I made for my sister. I will show the entire thing in the video below. I used a Sizzix die called Essential Mini Album to cut it all out which made it really easy. The paper is older CTMH paper.

Here is the B I made with my retired CTMH paper. I just love, love, love this paper and have been saving it for a long time. I got the B at Micheal's on clearance and it has lights in it.  Unfortunately I should be heading back to work soon so I have been working on trying to get things organized before I am super busy again.I guess it is good and bad that I am going back to work. Since I have had more time on my hands I have found myself buying more crafting supplies. When I am working I will be to busy to shop! As you can see in the video I still have some work to do. I have a mess of photos to go thru and organize. Also, please do not forget, beckys party for her birthday is now open. Selfie Layout!

I made this layout fro one of our crops but have not posted it yet. These are not the best pictures but I thought they were really fun. I used Sangria paper and Capture The Date plus Urban Alphabet stamps. I used a sketch (158) from sketchsavy.blogspot.com . I used a heart punch and a circle punch from EK Success. We have not been doing much walking this summer but I am slowly getting better so maybe some walking this fall!

Fun Happy Birthday Flip Card!

I made this flip card for my nephews birthday. The paper I used is Tinkering. I used CTMH stamps: A Little of Everything, and Par-a-Phrase.    So if you can not tell this card was made just a few months back. LOL I had been practicing with my markers and I just loved how this image turned out. Card From Scraps.

  This entire card was made from scraps. The heart was the negative from a sizzix die. I cut out the card base with my Cricut at some point in the past. I grabbed a couple of felt hearts I got on clearance at Meijer and stamped the hearts and phrase with a CTMH stamp.Kind of cute and super quick and easy! Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

    Well Hello,
I am a little over a week out after my knee surgery (torn meniscus and bone spurs) I am just feeling up to doing a little more. I did do a bunch of coloring with my Copics and Touch Twin markers while I sat on the couch with ice on my knee, I also watched a ton of YouTube videos and maybe a little bit of online shopping.
    I used my CTMH water colors for these cards. The stamp are: Pair-a-Phrase, A Bow-wow ( CTMH), and Funny bones. The paper is Creative Basics-Emporium and Super Hero. I think there is a scrap from another Cloes To My Heart paper thrown in there also. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Today Is The Day!

   I have been working seven days a week so to get my craft fix I started this little project. I took some older paper ( that I have been hoarding) and cut it up to make some embellishments. That way I can do a little when I have some time and easily pick back up latter. I think this was a week long project. Then I packaged them up and sent some in the mail to my crafty friends. I used a paper punch for the little silverware and added Liquid Glass to some.
    So today is the day I have my knee surgery and that should give me some extra crafty time. I am not looking forward to the surgery, but I am to some time off. Lets just get this over with!! Okay here are some more pictures and hopefully a video if it works.

Hooray For Summer Camping.

    Ahh Summer! I finally got a little time off from work and we went camping this weekend. Hooray!,These pictures are from a few years ago camping but I am still in vacation mode so I thought  they would be fun ones to post. I got the paper from a small scrapbook store last year while we were camping but I am not sure who they are made by. So real soon, latter this week, I am going to have knee surgery and then I will be off of work for a bit. I am hoping to get some crafting done since I can do that from my chair! I am not looking forward to the surgery but I am to the time off! Scrap Happy!

Shake It Up!

  Shaker cards and sequins are my thing lately. These were made with my cousin in mind who was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I used a Sizzix die to cut out the ribbon. The felt hearts and purse brad were in my stash. The pink Ric-Rack is from Close To My Heart. The sequins I recently ordered from Cartwright Sequins.The Sentiment is a stamp from CTMH. I tried two different ways to make the shaker. One is with a acetate sheet and foam tape and the other was a clear bag from a local craft store.  The bag was easier but I think I like the look of the other one better and the sequins seem to move better. Gorgeous!

  This paper is really old from CTMH. It is a Level One if that tells you how old it is. I used the stickers that came with the paper. I just love how all these pictures turned out! Once I got Mandy and her friends involved in taking photos everyone played along. Those girls were all about taking the pictures. Scrap Happy! Brenda

   I used a Sizzix die from Tim Holtz to make these cards. I cut everything out a  bunch of times so I could make the sewing things in different colors. The red paper is an older CTMH Christmas set. Missing Summer!

   Well guess who is working all weekend again! Yup you guessed it, me. I get Sunday night off for the holiday. So I have been working a little craft time in when I can to keep sane. I made these jars right after we got back from our trip for spring break. The letters were cut out using my Cricut. The paper is CTMH. The shell stickers were from my stash. Angry Lady- Cracks Me Up!

 I borrowed this Art Impression stamp from Kathy and when I got my new stamps on sale at Michaels I knew I had to pair them up. The stamp is a Dylusions stamp from Ranger. Snow Coming Layout

 

This snow coming was a couple years ago when
 Krista was a freshman. We did not have any kids living in our basement at the time so all the girls came over to our house to get ready. The paper I used is Note Book. I used the Designer Ribbon Assortment, Bohemian Assortment, and Pretty Pins from CTMH. The lace is from a grab bag from Maya Road and the frame was a gift from my friend Tricia. Work, Work, Work!

Hello everyone.
  Work, work, work is all I have been doing recently. I got a new job at work and it requires me to work weekends and overtime for training. So sorry I have not posted in awhile.

So this layout is an older one which never got posted because I have not had time to edit newer layouts from my birthday crop. The paper is Surfs Up and I also used the My Stickease Assortment that matched the paper. The bigger flowers are Just Blooms Paper Shapes and the small ones are from my stash. I made this layout at a crop and Becky just happened to have some washi tape that matched really well. Thanks so much Becky for sharing. I think the washi is just what it needed to finish it off. Baby Shower Gift Bags

I decided after looking at the gift bags in the store I could buy some plain ones and dress them up myself. It was a lot cheaper and I have more than enough stuff to do it, right! I cut the butterfly with a die I recently got at The Scrap Book Outlet. Gina has a bunch of her own. The stamp set is and older one called Miracle from CTMH and the paper was scraps from my stash.
