Visiting Carlee layout

This is another layout I did awhile ago. I used a level 2 paper pack that is retired now but I can not remember the name. we took these pictures when we went to visit her in the hospital and gave her the banner we made. You can view this banner by clicking the banner label on the right and scroll down until you find it. Poor girl was so miserable! I am glad to report that she is doing great now. Well spell check is not working so I hope there are no misspelled words in this post. I am a terrible speller! Scrap Happy!

Thank You cards from scraps

So all these cards were made with scraps and extra embellishments from my stash. I was inspired by a post from Brenda F. at http://craftingwithjoanie.blogspot.com Once I started I was having so much fun that I just kept making more. I love how easy they were and that I was using some of my old stuff from my stash. The stamps are CTMH Stitched Together, and A Little Thanks. Thanks for stopping by.

Layout with Moon Doggie

So it has been a scrapless and no blog week. :-(. we have been working on getting ready for school, plus swim practice, and trying to do a little reorganizing. We finished the painting project and krista is moved into her new room so I fell like we are making progress. These pictures were taken a couple of years ago when we went on a tubing trip. The paper is Moon Doggie and the stamps are: Cherish the day, It's your Day, and pure Adventure.  Here are a couple mare of the same event with the same paper. One is an 8 1/2 x 11 page layout for my Mother-in Laws book. I hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer. Scrap Happy!

I used my Cricut Artiste to cut out the letters and a pattern from the book Cherish. (p. 64) I also added some embroidery floss.

Halloween layout

So my notes on this layout are long gone. Bummer.  The paper is older CTMH paper so I was excited to match it up with the Moonlight Compliments Dimensional Elements that I got off the while Supplies Last list for cheep. I used my Artiste cartridge to cut the photo mat. Do you like Rob's costume? That is real. He had to wear that when he had the thing  put in his back for his hand. Thanks for stopping by. Scrap happy.

Simon Says Challenge Triangles

I decided to enter this card in this weeks Simon Says Wednesday  Challenge. www.simonsaysstampblog.com The challenge is to use triangles. I used the stamp set Vintage Type to stamp the background of the stamp with triangles. I originally took a picture before I assembled the card so you could see the images better but my disk in my camera is messing up so I had to start over with pictures. The other stamp is Later, Sk8r workshop stamp. I also also some Maya Road twine and some Recollection gems. The sign on the card is also a triangle. Thanks for stopping by. Scrap Happy!
Here is a closer shot of the back ground.

Vacation photos

We just got back from vacation and I thought you might enjoy these photos. It was quite a job getting the lighthouse photo since I had to climb up and down a bunch of sand dunes to find a good shot. I ended up taking a ton of the lighthouse trying to decide what angle was best but I will not share them all.I hope you are enjoying your summer. Scrap Happy!

Card with the new hostess reward stamp Washi Wonder

So I have a lot of pictures to go with my post today. I used the new hostess rewards stamp Washi Wonder. Plus the following stamps: Rugged Dude, School Years, Cherish The Day, Card Word Puzzle, A litle of Everything, and lastly, School is Here.I also used the Sizzix die Clip Board & Holder. On the second card I used Washi Tape -Slate from CTMH. and the eyelets are from my stash.
Here is the inside of the first one. I also used the new stamp on the inside. This stamp is very versatile. I am thinking of tons of ways to use this!
Here is the stamp set! How can you get it? Just host a party and you can use your hostess rewards to get it for only 10 dollars. It is a 17.95 value but you can not get it unless you have a party.( online ones work)

Here is my second one. I like this one better. I used the pocket to stamp the background. I just turned it upside down for every other row. I like the lighter blue on white better.

And lastly this is the mess I made while making my cards! I just can not be creative with out making a mess! Scrap Happy Brenda.

Guest blogger Krista

www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge  Krista made this card with Dream pop paper. I love the texture this paper has with the shinny resist coating. She also used Irresistable Miracle chipboard die cuts, Hobby Lobby gems, and the stamp Card Chatter-Sympathy. She did it all by herself. I think it turned out very well. I does not even look like a 14 year old made it. She is entering it in the Simon Says challenge this week. It does not have much to do with Ice but she did put some shinny gems on it. This is the one she wanted to use because she liked this one best. ( The link to this site is right under the picture. Just in case you would like to check out all the other creative kids!)

Birthday Card

I used a bunch of left over stuff from the girls banners for these cards. I also used my Cricut Artiste cartridge, and stamps that come with it. The bakers twine is from Maya Road. Thanks so much for stopping by. i always love to hear From you. Scrap Happy!
