Crafting fun

Well I am still crafting down stairs and I had a couple of guest last week. They were not to excited about having me take pictures. I think they had lots of fun.  Scrap Happy!

Layouts with Stardust

Well today was one of those "best day ever" days! Everyone was gone and I had the entire house to myself. Well except the dog. I should have been doing the weekend catch-up on the house but guess what I did instead! Yup Scrapbooked! I can clean the house when they get home. Plus I treated myself to lunch at Panera bread. Yay me! For these pages I used CTMH paper Stardust and Mile Post Shapes. Then I used some older stuff from my stash. I told you it was the best day ever! I used some stickers from Scrappin Sports & more, some embellishments from Creative Impressions, and the clear window over the main picture but I am not sure what they are called.

I also made an 8x8 each for the boys. I cut the journaling spot in half from the sticker sheet so I could have some on both layouts. Thanks for stopping by. Scrap Happy!

Buzz and Bummble card

This card was made from some bucket stuff. The 4 you wreath was given to me by my friend Tricia. She had the orange ribbon tied to the tag. I removed it and used it to embellished my card with it. The string is burlap fibers. I also used some brads from my stash. Thanks for stopping by!

Card with Roxie

So the weather is getting warmer and there is still a table down stairs from my party so I have been sneaking down there to get my craft fix.The problem with that is that a lot of my craft stuff is upstairs. My solution has been to bring down just a few things. This tulip pail is where I have been sticking extra stuff and scraps or opps. I brought it down and I have been using some of the things in it to make cards. The paper for this car is Roxie, The scallop circles were stamped a while ago and I did not use them. The string is a burlap fiber and I added some faux pearls. Thanks for stopping by! Stay Cool!

I am going to post this card on Simon Says challenge Any Thing Goes . http;//simonsaysstampblog.blogspot.com

retrosketches card

I decided to play along this week with retrosketches retrosketches.blogspot.com I find that it is a great start to go to the blog and try a sketch to get my creative juices flowing. I used Later Sk8r paper and the Epoxy Bubbles that come with the workshop On The Go. The stamp I used is You're Great, and I also used some Maya Road bakers twine. I hope you are enjoying your Sunday afternoon. Scrap Happy!

Layout with Dreamin

This layout was made with Dreamin paper. I was lucky enough to get some off the while supplies last list awhile back. The package also came with Harvest Charms. I also used Edge Anchors and Mini Medley Colonial White embellishments. I had some chipboard in my stash and I was excited to use it also. I think it matches really well.

Studio J layout

Yay go Griffins! The Grand Rapids Griffins are in the playoffs for the Calder cup. They only have to win one more game. We are huge fans and it is very exciting. This is a scheduled post ( I know I will be very busy next week) so we should know when this is posted how the game went. The fun thing is we have tickets for the Saturday night game! It will be so exciting to be there if they win this game! I hope you are keeping up with your summer fun. Thanks for stopping by.

Recovered notebooks and Guest

I bought some notebooks on clearance at Michael's that had some UGLY covers. Krista and I recovered a couple of them. Mine was for a guest book at my In-Laws party. A bunch of the family wrote nice stuff  in it to them. Krista's was for a friend  for Christmas. Her friend's name started with E. She did some cute stuff on the back also but I did not get a picture of that. I like how she ran the ribbon up the spine and used it as a bookmark inside the book. Scrap Happy !

Studio J layout

It has been a busy week. School is out and my daughter is starting a summer polo class. I am so proud of her. She is one of the youngest kids on a high school co ed team and she is giving it her all. She said one of the high school boys she was pressing just flicked her off like a fly! The bad thing about this is it means broken sleep for me. Next week I will be doing my new job as a fill in for vacations with 12 hours part of the week. Lucky for me I still have some Studio J layouts to share that I did a while  ago when they were having that promotion. For this layout I went back to my pictures on my flash drive and took pictures of different years of Christmas. I love how you can see how my family has change. Since I have already scrapbooked these photos Studio J allowed me to back track very easily with out a trip to get photos developed. Thanks for stopping by Scrap Happy!

Fathers Day Card

There is actually a few cards and my goal when I was working on these was to use my Tim Holtz embossing folders from Sizzix. I do not use these fun folders near enough! I am planning on entering this card in the Simon Says! challenge blog under masculine/Father's day    I am not sure if I can make it work on my computer so we will see. I also used Tim Holtz Mini Paper Rosettes die. The stamp is from Close To My Heart, Perfect Fit -dad as well as some Cruising paper. the tag I cut out with my Art Philosophy cartridge but I never made anything with it. I had it in my scraps so I was happy to use it. Lastly I used some CTMH ric-rac.  Thanks for stopping by. Scrap Happy

Mini Album with FanFare

I made this album with my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.
I cut one each of all 8 pieces and then I cut and extra one (accent 1 shift) to decorate the cover. Then were all cut at 4" which will still fit on my little Cricut.

I had a pile of extra stuff (mistakes, and wrong size) that matched this paper and I used a bunch of it to decorate the album.

The stamps I used were: Good Times, Capture The Date, Art Philosophy Stamp, Life Is Sweet, and You Are... I also used some Maya Road Bakers twine. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Clementine Card

Well it HAS been one of those days! I decided this was a good day to post this card. I am learning a new job at work and that is a little stressful. Plus I just can not seem to find any energy the past couple of days. The weather is beautiful and I have lots of new scrap supplies but for some reason I can not find any get-up-and-go!  Sigh! This card was made with the Clementine paper and workshop stamp.I also used some burlap I bought at Hobby Lobby. I am hoping you are getting loads of thing done at your house today but I am still trying to talk myself into mowing the lawn.  Scrap Happy (  maybe I will just look at the stuff I already made today LOL)

Sympathy card

This card was inspired (lifted) by Brenda  http://craftingwithjoanie.blogspot.com .  They always have such creative ideas.  This is a great card for a man. I again had to make a sympathy card. :-( The stamps are: Card Chatter-Sympathy, The Gifts Of Love, and Universal backgrounds. The embroidery floss actually came from my mom's stuff. I found it while I was cleaning out her  sewing room for my dad so I am always happy when I can use a little of that. Thanks for stopping by.

Party Project 2

This side is my favorite. The paper is Grace-Simply Snapshots.  We used Foundry binder Clips, but we pulled the pin out and smashed the back down so you could use both sides( two for the price of one) and it was not so thick. Thanks Gloria Rogers for the idea. the stamp was Home Sweet Home. I also used Maya Road bakes Twine-Watermelon, Hobby Lobby bling, and we made flowers cut from the Art Philosophy Cartridge. Lastly we added a faux Pearl to the tag. Thanks for stopping by.  Scrap Happy!
