Thank You With Roxy

I used some gold embossing powder to heat emboss the title on these cards. the paper is Close To My Heart Roxy. The stamp is Variety Of Thanks which was a Hostess Rewards Stamp. I used the CTMH scallop boarder punch and lastly I used some punches from Tonic Studio. I got these punches for a deal from The Crazy Lady. My family calls her that because of her laugh when I watch her YouTube videos. She is actually from Scrap booking Made Simple. An online store and a small store in California. You is well know for her how to YouTube videos. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Haloween Fright

I know I have been MIA again. There are just not enough hours in the day. I work every day including Saturday and Sunday(just not always 8 hours on these days) and it is hard to find time to do the things I love. You would think that with Krista away at school it would be easier but that is not the case. Now I have a big boy who is working lots of hours and he does not have much time to chip in. That being said, I am not giving up on my crafting! I just am not going to always be as active.
I made this fun layout using the Close To My Heart Cricut cartridge Art Booking. I just love the haunted house and the fun title! I really need to get this out more often. Just a heads up, if you are like me and do not have your Cricut linked to your computer, you might want to grab any of the cartridges you want but don,t have. Provo craft is going all digital and soon you will not be able to get the actual cartridge soon. It is on a while supplies last basis right now .http://brendamckerchie.ctmh.com  There is a new travel one that I need to get my hands on before it is to late.
I also thought I would give you a little update on my chickens. They are all laying on a regular basis right now. We just got the yard fenced in so they have been getting a little time out in the yard. All but Salvadora, who I would never be able to catch to get back in the coop. Someday, Rob is going to put a door at the bottom of the coop so then I will be able to just shoo them back in. Right now I have to catch them and physically lift them back into the coop. Django ( my granddog) is getting a new brother or sister! all the more reason to scrapbook.
So here is to a New Years resolution early! Finding more time for doing what I love!

Chicken Update

My chickens are getting big and noisy! As soon as I let the dogs out in the morning Rocky starts root rooing at me. Irene comes right over to the door when I open it and they all love treats! No eggs yet. I am hoping in September. Our new neighbor's hove moved in and are putting up a fence for their dog! Win for me. They grew up on a farm and their parents have chicken so they are used to the noise. Win for me!! She even knew the kinds of chickens I have. So far so good. I hope you all are enjoying your summer and here is a video of the chickens at about 14 weeks.

Contraband Card

Hello I am back again. I used some CTMH paper called La Belle Vie for this card. I also used a die by Karen Burniston called Agatha Edges and a contraband die from another company I got off their clearance section. the trim was from my stash and I think it was Maya Road. i am really drawn to pop up and interactive cards and when I saw this die I just had to have it! Thanks for stopping by! Brenda

Biggest Fan!

I used an Art Impressions stamp for this card. They always crack me up! The paper is from CTMH. I used one of my 6x6 sample papers so I am not sure of the name. The hand is on a wobble so that it will move. I gave this card to Krista this year before a polo game.
