Boom-Di-Ada birthday card.

Okay here is another card made with the Boom-Di-Ada paper!  The stamps I used are Universal Back Grounds, and one of the sets that comes with the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I cut some Flowers with that cartridge and added some bling.

Boom-Di-Ada cards

I am still working on using up this paper pack! The stamp set is the Friendship Bouquet and Universal Backgrounds.   I used a blending pen to color the flower.  I got the idea for this card from a CTMH consultant on the eyecandy facebook page but I can not remember her name. One of the card bases was cut out with my sizzix die.  I hope you are all enjoying your summer and getting a little crafting in.

Boom-Di-Ada layout

The very first paper pack I ever bought from Close To My Heart was Boom-Di-Ada and I still have some.  I love this paper pack but have decided it is time to use it up.  So my focus this week is trying to use what I have left. (I added some card stock with the patterned paper)  I scraplifted the layout from Magic page 122- Final Act.  I also used Top Coats Framed which is in the while supplies last list right now for one dollar!  http;//brendamkerchie.myctmh.com/  I used craft clear buttons (also on that list) and my accents Topiary.  the stamp set was Bohemian Alphabet

Boom-Di-Ada cards

For these cards I used a dollar store stamp( all natural beauty).  While I like the stamp I had trouble getting it off the backing and it actually ripped when I took it off!  :-(  I was able to "stick" it back together on the block and the image still turned out.  One more reason i think CTMH is the best.  The other stamps I used were Universal Backgrounds and TreasureLife.  The paper is Boom-Di-Ada.I really liked the way the circle turned out with the CTMH stamp in the background with the other one on top!
I did a quick 8x8 layout with all the same stamps.  Working on using up this paper pack!

Grad card with Sweetheart

I love the 3-d flowers you can make with the  Art Philosophy cartridge but I hate that they will not fit in an envelope. So when I sat down to make a graduation card for an event we would be going to (hand deliver = no envelope required) and for a girl I knew just what I wanted to do!
\
I used the Sweet Heart paper pack.  The stamps I used were: Potential-March stamp of the month, Backgrounds and Borders, and Frames Tags and Borders.  The card was cut with my new Sizzix die cut I got for my birthday with my Hobby Lobby gift card. ( Thanks again Becky and Kathy) The graduation cap was also a Sizzix die cut and I sanded the embossing to make it show better.  I made a little envelope inside with my cricut ( Art Philosophy again- used a small card p.40) to hold the cash since I will not be putting this in an envelope.   I also used Stickles to add some glitter.

After I got all done I decided to add a little bling.  I used my Hobby lobby bulk stuff and the yarn is from my stash.  I can not wait to give this card to the graduate!

Victory Fathers Day Card

Happy Fathers Day.  The paper I used was Victory.  I combined some older stamps with some new!  Stamp sets: Just Like You, Limited edition. and Cruising Workshop.  It is raining and hot here.  I hope your weather is better for your Fathers day celebration.  Thanks for stopping by.  P.S. It says happy under the yarn but you can not see it in the picture.  Also I used 3-d dots under the Happy Fathers Day square to and dimension.

July 4th banner

Krista made a gift bag for the auction that was July 4th themed.  She made this banner for it with my Art Philosophy and Independence day cartridge.  She also used my 2inch scallop punch and a star stamp.  not sure which.  I think she did a good job and she wanted me to be sure to put it on my blog. She also made some potholders and bracelets.  We added some other stuff like red, white, and blue napkins, silverware
, and cups.  The idea was hers.   Great job!

8x8 page

Sorry about the picture quality.  :-(   I tried to get it better on Pic Monkey but I did not have any luck.  I made the background paper by random stamping( the yellow is actually sweet leaf leaves). The sticker is one I had in my stash. The butterflie is from Flutter Paper Shapes.

8x8 layout

Okay here is one more layout for the scrap book for the auction.  I used some paper I have had laying around for awhile and I do not know where it came from.  The stamp set is Tool Time.  The color is a little off in this picture, sorry  This page cost me pennies and I think it turned out pretty good.  what do you think?

8x8 layout using Lucky

This layout was made with Lucky paper again.  The letter strip along the side was made with my Cricut and Art Philosophy cartridge.  The stamp was Pure Country.  i ended up making two 8x8 albums each with 10 pages ( which is 20 actual pages).  I got the albums on clearance a while ago.  They both went for 12 dollars at the auction. Not to bad I think.  We also got some deals of our own on some donated camping and a brake job.  Thanks for stopping by.
Scrap happy and have a nice day-Brenda

8x8 layout with lucky

Here is another 8x8 layout I did for Carlee's book.  The paper is Lucky and the stamp is Star Power.  I embossed the images with black but you can not see that in this picture.  They turned out really nice and look shiny.  I was looking for a new way to use and older stamp.

8x8 album

I made a 8x8 album for Carlee's benefit and this is one of the pages.  The paper is Roxie and the stamp i used is Find Your Style.  I also use one of my Sizzix die & embossing  folders and some generic bling from Hobby Lobby.  These  8x8 pages are perfect for a 4x6 photo and they go together so quick. I made two of them for the action.  More pages to follow.  We had a great time and helped raise money for gas and expense when she is in the hospital.

CTMH is a deal

So During a break at a water polo tournament I went to a local scrapbooking store to look for some water polo themed stuff.  I was surprised by how much just a few things added up to!  I guess Close To My Heart supplies are really not any more expensive then other stuff.
Here is what I bought.  Six pieces of paper and one die cut.  They are really cool and it is hard to find polo stuff.  The die cut is not something I could buy just anywhere.
Okay here is my total. Seven dollars and thirty cents!   I did not see any prices hen I was shopping but my thoughts were " well it is only a few sheets of paper"  Boy was I supprised.   I still love the papers and think they will make some really cooll polo pages.  I hope you are all doing well.  Scrap Happy!  By the way this months special from Close To My Heart special this month is buy two stamps and get the third one FREE!
