Just Chillin!

I have been practicing using my CTMH markers and my Copics. The great thing is since they are alcohol markers you can use them together. Boy these girls sure look cool! The large stamp is from Art Impressions and the sentiment is an older stamp from CTMH. Thanks for stopping by and SCRAP HAPPY.

Zoe Milk Carton Box

Here is a project I made with the new Zoe paper from Close To My Heart. I got a Sizzix die on clearance from Michael's and I used that and a Movers and Shapers die to cut out the carton. I added a little window in the side. I also used some Maya Road Twine and washie tape from CTMH. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Shabby Chic Mirror Project

Today I wanted to share with you a project I did for Krista's room. I found this mirror at good will and used some chalk paint I had left over from projects in my scrap room. Then I used some of the leftover glaze to make it look old. I added the lace to cover up where I did not get paint all the way to the very edge. I think it makes it look Shabby Chic. I thought about adding some flowers but Krista said she liked it how it was.The above pictures are before and the bottom ones are of the finished project.
I think I paid 4 dollars for the mirror. thanks for stopping by and scrap happy!!

Thinking Snow Men on a Hot Day!

It is HOT here today! I am trying to get some stuff done but I to not want to move. I have already vetoed the idea of cleaning my scrap room so working on my blog sounded good. I found this card I made last winter and thought it might remind me of cold and shoveling snow. Maybe it is not so hot after all. At least I do not have to mow the grass because it has not rained much and has not grown. I used some CTMH stamps for this card but of course my directions have long disappeared. One is Flaky Friends and the other is an older Christmas border stamp. I used a Gina Marie embossing folder and a few scraps of wonderland paper. ( I think that is what it is called) Becky has set the date for her crop and CTMH party. September 26 th is the day to keep open! Thanks for stopping by and stay cool! Brenda

The bottom card I used the Jubilee workshop stamp. and now I have some pictures of the August deals from Close To My Heart.

Okay Lastly i have pictures of the new Zoe paper and one of the new hostess rewards stamps.

That's My Boy!

Sorry it has been awhile but life happens. We do not get to see my oldest son as much anymore so we were really happy to have a visit last summer. I used some older paper called Elements and I also used Jubilee for this layout. I cut the banner with some Sizzix dies. The Durables Triangle Studs are from CTMH. The word strips are from the Top strip of the Jubilee paper. I am getting excited about the new CTMH book coming out and Becky is having a crop next month for her birthday. Her party will open later this month. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Celebrate!!! Layout

We do a lot of camping with Rob's family in the summer. These pictures are from one of our camping trips last year.  We made the layout on the left at a crop and I added the other side later. We used the Circus Alphabet from CTMH and colored the letters in with our CTMH markers. I also used the hostess rewards stamp The Party Is On.( For the second page) I added some CTMH Enamel stars and some Sorbet ribbon. The paper is called Chalk It Up. Lastly I cut the doilies with a wafer thin die by Prima. Oh I almost forgot the die cuts were cut with my Artbooking cartridge. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy! Brenda
