Winter Banner using Tickled Pink

I am really excited to share this banner with you!  I made two actually, one for myself and one for my son's girlfriend.  I used an older paper I have been "saving" called Tickled Pink.  I also used Miracle paper.  The rosettes were made with my Sizzix and Tim Holtz die Minni Rosettes. The stamps were : Jingle Borders,Urban Alphabet, Share The Magic, All Decked Out, and Pair-A-Phrase. I used my CTMH 1 1/4 circle punch, and of course my Art Philosophy Cartridge. The bling was from Hobby Lobby.

I wanted to show you my scrap space.  This project not only took over the kitchen table but also all the kitchen counters. LOL I had to glue the rosettes together and then put some weight on them while I waited for them to dry.

Pear and Partridge Christmas Card

This is my other Christmas card. I actually made these for the Son-Life Camp crop and used the rest for Christmas.  The paper is Pear and Partridge.  The stamp is Holiday Wishes. I love how the bird on the ornament matches the one on the paper. I cut the ornaments out with my Art Philosophy cartridge. I also used Stickles glitter on them.

Pirate banner with Cruisin paper

Well I can not say that I am ready for snow (I may never be)  but I am trying to get into the spirit of things so I changed my blog and am listening to Christmas music. Another banner! I know. I have been banner crazy and I am still not done. I have a couple of girls to make some for yet!   These banners were made for my nephews who LOVE pirates and one has a pirate themed room. I hope they like them because I put a lot of work into them and I had some help from a friend. ( see picture below)

I used my Art  Philosophy cartridge and my CTMH Scallop punch. Next I cut the border on the top with a sizzix die called Alterations On The Edge by Tim Holtz.  I cut the ends off so it would fit on top. The paper is Cruisin and Happy Travels (by Glitz from Hobby Lobby) The stickers are La Petites from the Paper Studio. The keys are Metal Art from K &Company and lastly the burlap was from Hobby Lobby. I searched for quite a while to find some pirate themed stuff.  What do you think. Does it look like it could go on a pirate ship? How are your Christmas crafts going? Better than mine I hope. Scrap Happy Brenda

Tinkering Layout

When my daughter was in 6th grade I got to go to camp with her.  I was so proud of her for all the new things she tried.  This layout shows her accomplishing one of those things. Making it to the top of the rock wall. The paper is Tinkering.  I also used CTMH rub-ons All-Out Adventure and the Poster Board Alphabet stamp. It is so easy to make these letters. Just stamp them on pattern paper and cut them out.  You can make any letters match your layout this way. Scrap Happy Every Day!

Skate Layout

This layout was made with older paper from my stash.  It is called winter Stripes from Fiskars and Pressed Petals from Heidi Grace.  The letters are from Ki Memorie- Alphabet Soup-(color) Blueberry Bisque.  Two winters ago we got to skate on my mother-in laws pond at Christmas time.  It was so much fun and I took tons of pictures. I also wanted to add that this layout followed a page from Carla Creates blog.  Have a great day.  Scrap Happy Brenda
