Christmas Banner/Simon Says Challenge

Well I think I bit off a little more than I could chew on this project! I saw the Monday Simon Says challenge(not until Friday) and had this great idea. The problem was that it needed to be done and posted by Sunday for the challenge! The challenge is holiday countdown. See it here.www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge
I just got the new Close To My Heart stamp Magical Holiday and decided this would be perfect. Every tag has a number and the middle ones also say Merry Christmas. You could hang one up everyday in December until Christmas, but I have decided that I put to much work into it to not have it up all month! I had a hard time getting pictures because I have spent so much time on this that it is now dark! LOL Below are some more pictures and I am making a list of supplies at the bottom. Boy you should have seen the mess I had in my scraproom! Thanks for stopping by.

Close To MY Heart Supplies
Mistletoe paper, Ribbon Rounds Rick Rack & Chocolate, Badge Buttons, Button Brads, Clear Inspirations ribbon Slides, and the following stamps: Magical Day,Universal Backgrounds,St Nick,All The Best.

Scrap Book Room

Before Photos and of the ceiling painted. Are you getting sick of my craft room pictures? Sorry, I just am so happy to have my new room that I can not help but brag!

Now some after pictures.

We have the paneling up in this picture.

Cricuts first spot.

New spot.

The shelf that I got from my childhood room at my dad's. That proved to be a problem since it was larger than the bedroom doorway. We had to cut a little off from the bottom.

And now it is starting to look like my craft room! All messy and lived in. I really like the new sign I have on the wall that says "Do small things with great love"

This picture is out of order, but it was taken before the second shelf behind the table was put in.

Izzy's bed in scrap room

Izzy has been visiting me in my new scraproom so I made her a spot with some blankets. She likes to lay under the table so she does not get stepped on. well even Izzy's spot got an upgrade. I decide to make her spot more permanent in my room and she got a new bed! I am still working on getting everything where I want it but she is pretty happy with her space.
This is also Krista's side of the table. She has some drawer under the table and some room on the shelves on that side. She has been in organizing her space also.

Scrap Book Room Closet

Okay this is what my closet looked like before I painted and took down the wall paper. I decide to keep the metal doors and just paint them. That way I could use them to put up magnetic decorations and storage.

I have now just painted the inside of the closet. The old book shelf will stay inside like this to separate the things that are not scrapbooking but must stay in there and also to give me some more shelves to put things on. Making progress.

The bottom rectangles are painted with chalkboard paint so we can write on them. I replaced the knobs with some fun pink clear pink ones I got in the dollar bin at Micheal's for 1/2 price. Another steal!

And I was lucky enough to win this at a crop!I also used a Tim Holz embossing folder, and some CTMH washi tape. Here is the link to the Monday challenge if you would like to check out the other projects.www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge Thanks for stopping by. CTMH Stamp totes

This is my new place to store my stamps. I like it first because we were lucky enough to get the totes free. I then spray painted them. Secondly, I like the fact that they do not take up a lot of space. I am working on labeling each tote. The only thing that I do not like is that I have to take them apart to get the stamps out. They are not quite tall enough to reach inside and pull the stamps out with out taking the apart. Ijust need to give my Honey a big THANK YOU for getting the toes for me. You can also see my cabinet in this picture that was in the living room before I moved to my room. Thanks for stopping by!

I am also hoping that it gets to school in one piece. Thanks for stopping by. Scrap Happy!

Freshly made sketch 110

I used some scraps from K & company Girl scout paper for this card. I also used some K & Company rub-ons I won at a crop and the T is from Color Bok Stick Alpha Stack. I plan on sending this card to my friend Tricia so that is what the T is for. Crop Pictures

I just wanted to say thanks to the girls who could make it to the crop. I know these pictures are a little late. Sorry. I have been working on some editing this weekend after working 12 hours last week so I might get caught up. As you can see it was a full house. We had people squeezed in every corner. My spot was in front of the freezer after everyone dragged all their stuff in.

Even Izzy likes to crop!

My Tim Holtz attempt at a card

This was my first attempt at a card that was Tim Holtz style. I did not take notes because I could not decide weather I liked it or not. I used a CTMH stamp for the sediment and I also used a stamp called Torn Paper. i got that stamp and the music washi tape from a scrapbook store we visited in Ludington while we were camping. the paper is Wings and I think that is May Road Twine. thanks for stopping by. Scrap Happy!
