Magnets

We went to the pet expo today and got some magnets.  I revamped them and this is what I came up with.

Sorry about the pictures.  I could not seem to find a good place to take a picture today.  I used Roxie paper for this one. The stamp I used is Dream Wishes. I also used Crochet Flower and Sparkles. 

For this one I used Pemberly paper and the Bouquet Assortment.  I am so excited about how they turned out.  Now I am wishing we had picked up a couple more of these.  Krista even liked them and has already snagged one for her locker. .

3 cards from 12x12 base

Here is a quick way to cut three cards from a 12x12 sheet of card stock for new card makers.  Cut one 4" x11" strip lengthwise and then cut 2 piece's 5 1/2"x8" wide. You will have 2 one inch pieces of scrap left.

My husband , Rob, was nice enough to pick me up some scrapbook paper at a thrift store and I made these cards using that paper. ( Daisy d's Bambino Collection)  I also used Cocoa ribbon and some scraps from my scrap drawer.  the stamps I used are: Baby Love, Universal Backgrounds, True Friends, a Melody, and card chatter-Sympathy.  I used the music background stamp to create the music paper with the stamped image over it and I cut around the image.  I also used a piece of Maya Road twine.   Happy scraping and have a great day.

More Roxie

When I started making the Roxie cards I had one sheet of Roxie paper, one sheet of Twilight, and one sheet of Craft( plus white and colonial white bases).  This is how much I still have left after making all the previous cards and the party favors!  I love how you can get so much out of just a few sheets of paper!

These are some cards with what was left.  I also used Mocha opaques, cocoa brads and some "Cheater" twine from Maya Road.  The stamps I used are Potential( march stamp of the month) and the Florentine workshop on the go stamp.Plus I also made the following layout with the same sheets of paper adding extra for bases.

Well I will probably not get much more crafting done this week.  They are working us like dogs at the factory and my hands are killing me.  :-(    Scrap Happy- Brenda

Party favors with Roxie

I am so excited about my little party favors I made today!  I used a Sizzix die for the card and envelope.  The little stamps fit so perfect!  The paper is Roxie.  The stamps are A Little Thanks, and Card Word Puzzle.  The stamps in the card are Wonderful You.

Roxie cards

Can you belive this is the mess it took to make three cards! I do not think anyone appreciates what we go thru to make them the cards we send them or give them for thier birthday.  LOL

These are the three cards.  The paper I used is Roxie.  I also used Cocoa ribbon, Black button brads, and Pearl Opaques.  The stamps I used were A Little Thanks, and Card Word Puzzle.

Roxie card

This card I made for our anniversary.  The candle that is in the picture is the unity candle we had at our wedding and every year we get it out to burn it.   The paper used is Roxie( I love this pack!!!!) I also used the stamps, Card Word Puzzle, Love Clusters, and Thoughtful Tidings.  Lastly I used bitty sparkles.

The stitching around the outside is really done with a White Dasiy marker.  When I first started making the stitching I thought my new maker was defective because I could not see any marks but after a few seconds the white magically appeared.

These Ladies are so creative!

I used the Cherry-O paper and the creative basics pack that matched.  Becky let me use her big cricut to cut out the heart with my Art Philosophy cart and I also cut out out the letters with it.  The boarder is Kraft Color-Ready Borders. I still need to add the journaling.

Pop up trees

So scrap camp at Son-Life camp was cancelled.  Bummer!  I did have a few girls that were planning on going over to my house.  Thanks guys for coming, it made missing camp not so bad.  I did not get as much done as I would have liked.  I was busy babysitting the puppy( no peeing on people's stuff), chasing Alley away( she thought everyone was there to see her) , and getting Ninja out of people's tote( he climbed right in people's stuff)  I was a little busy.  I did make this fun page with some pop-up trees.  I already had the did cut from Sizzix. I also used the new stamp A Journey for the foot prints and saying.  (I love this little stamp and the price is great) I used the alphabet stamp Urban Alphabet for the title.

This is what the die cut looks like cut out and put together. The paper pack I used is Abundance.  I have been busy all week working so this is the first chance I have had to post the layout.

Hooligans layout

For this layout I used  the Holigans paper pack.  I am going to put pictures of my nephew Tate at various ages in a row.  the lagoon color is fast growing on me plus  paired with the purple and black it looks neat. 

The black boarder on the side of the page and title, plus the matts for photos, were cut out with my Art Philosophy cart. The chip board accents were left over from another kit but since they are white i could ink them to match.I also used the trouble maker stamp set and Mini- Medley Sunset. 

Well that is all for now.  I am hoping to get a lot of stuff done at Son_Life scrap camp. (Heres to hoping they get more people to sign up)  I will be spending the rest of my week trying to decide what to bring.  That is always a job because I want to bring everything!!!! Sophia Easter layout

For this layout I used the Sophia paper pack.  I cut the border and the eggs with my Art Phillosophy cart and Beckys big Cricut.( Thanks Becky) The stamp set are A Little of Everything, and Spring Time.

Let's Get Together- layout

I have had this paper for awhile.  I think I bought it at a Son-Life crop when Becky was selling paper by the sheet.  I happened to get a package of goodies from Michelle, sometime after I bought the paper, that matched.  I love Krista's sunglasses and how happy she looks.  I do not think Alley is as happy.  The paper is called Let's Get Together.

Birthday card- FanFare

This card was made with the scraps from my layout about Tia's party.  I love how easy it is to crate a card with scraps left over.  The stars were leftover also
