Spring Banner

Okay here is another of the banners that I made when I made the girl's.  This one was made for my son's fiancee. My goal is to make a winter, spring, summer, and fall one. So I have two done. {I made her the winter one already. You can find it under banners} The paper is Recollections, and the bling on a roll was also. (Butterflies) I used the cartridge that was already on my new Cricut  for the letters and I cut them out three times in the poster board, gluing them together to make them thicker. I used my art Philosophy cartridge to cut the banner, and flowers.  The rosettes were cut with my Tim Holtz Sizzix die. The bling was from Hobby Lobby and the ribbon was from my stash. I have been getting a lot of stuff made from this paper and accessories. Hopefully I will be able to use it all up. Thanks for stopping by.

Wallet Card

I saw this card on the Internet and just loved it. annettescreativejourney.blogspot.com Hers was a mans wallet. 1 cut card stock 9x3 1/2 inches and emboss. 2 cut a piece of coordinating pattern paper the same. ( inside of wallet)3 Round all 4 corners then glue together. 4 Score this unit at 4 7/16 & 4 9/16. 5Cut another piece of card stock 8 1/2 x 3 1/4. ( same color as before) 6 Score that piece at 4 1/4 inches and round bottom two corners. 7 Cut 2 pieces of the same color at 4 3/16. This is the first deepest pocket on the left and right side. Round bottom right of one and bottom left of other. . 8 Cut 2 pieces of the same color at 4 3/16 x 1 1/2 inches. Round corners (and stamp stitches if desired) like on 7. 9  Assemble the inside of wallet as shown, making sure to use supper sticky tape on all three side of the pocket so you can slide things in and out.
Okay one thing I messed up on was I did not leave an opening on the top edge of my first card in case you want to put something in the money part. ( like play money) The stamps I used for mine were Stitched Together, true Friends, Cherish The Moment, D 1495 Serendipity stamp and a Monogram stamp. The paper is K & Company.  Okay well good luck. If you have any questions go to Annette"s blog for more help.

Tia's Banner

Okay here is the other banner. I wanted to incorporate things that the girls were doing so I have the Quarter Note Cricut cartridge and it also had an image of a girl so I thought that it would look similar to the other banner. I did not want this banner to be to much shorter than the other one so I added two extra parts. The mini paper Rosettes were done with my Sizzix and a die by Tim Holtz. The paper and some of the bling is by Recollections. I used my Art Philosophy cartridge. The Ribbon was from Michael's. I used the same blue as the last one to tie the two together. The girls each had a color that they liked but they did not like each others colors. LOL Lastly, I made my own pin from my daughter's beads. I am hoping the girls will stop by here to see their banners and I can not wait to give then to them!

I also used Color Ready wooden shapes, Level 2 Journaling spots, Buttons-Blue assortment, Mile Post shapes, and blue sparkles form my stash. Everything is CTMH except the sparkles. I also made an 8X8 layout for my son's book which is posted below.  Thanks for stopping by.

Sequoya"s banner!

Well here it is. After much patience on the girls part I finally have their banners for their rooms done. I actually worked on four banners at the same time and two are done.  Here is the first one.   I used my Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the stuff out. The paper is from Recollections and so are the big round sparkles. I made my own stick pins. The ribbon was from Micheals.I used the alphabet that was already downloaded on my new Cricut for the letters.  everything has poster board behind it and I cut three layers for the letters and glued them together to give them dimension. The butterfly sparkle on the top is also from Recollections.  i added some Stickles to the letters later and you can see this in the picture below. I hope she likes it. Oh I also used the cartridge Sports Mania for the volleyball stuff. Thanks for stopping by.  Scrap Happy!
