Chicken Update

My chickens are getting big and noisy! As soon as I let the dogs out in the morning Rocky starts root rooing at me. Irene comes right over to the door when I open it and they all love treats! No eggs yet. I am hoping in September. Our new neighbor's hove moved in and are putting up a fence for their dog! Win for me. They grew up on a farm and their parents have chicken so they are used to the noise. Win for me!! She even knew the kinds of chickens I have. So far so good. I hope you all are enjoying your summer and here is a video of the chickens at about 14 weeks.

Chicken Update 9 weeks old

I am busy getting ready for a graduation party so I have not been doing much crafting. But I decided to make an up date video while I was cleaning the coop. Roxanne is most definitely a Rocky so we will have to see how that goes. Thanks for stopping by. Brenda

Chick update!

Well I got my chickens out of my scrapbook room so now I can start working on crop projects, finally! I think we might have an pops. I am a little worried my Silver Laced Wayndote might be a rooster. A Rockie and not a Roxanne! She sure has a pink comb and waddle. I can not wait for our scrap party!

Our Movie Star Chickens!

So Our baby chicks are a little over a week old and I can not believe how fast they are growing. Krista helped me name them( and Anna) and she picked all fancy movie star names. They are already getting their wing feathers in and the Cochin are getting their feathers on their feet.it is not an easy task taking pictures of busy baby chicks! Thanks you goes to my assistant, Krista. Tia's have been delivered to her house.(Also thanks to my assistant Krista) and sadly we lost one bay chick.

She is a Blue Cochin, but she will not actually be black. I can not wait to see how her colors turn out!
