A little taste of Summer!!!

Man has it been a LONG winter! I am so ready for some warmer weather. So I decided to work on some summer photos to beat the winter blues. The paper I used for this layout is Dream Pop. I also used the stamps sets Pinwheel and My Sunshine. I cut all the shapes out with my Cricut. The Jems are from Hobby Lobby and the Squishies title ( Karen Foster) was given to me by my friend Tricia. The colors of these go great with the paper. So bright and sunny, unlike today! I have one more close up picture. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Simon Says Wednesday and Freshly Made Sketches Challenges

First, I made this card for the Simon Says get krafty Challenge I used Laughing Lola paper from CTMH. The card base is 6 x 6 Die-Cut Cards I got off the While Supplies Last list.10 cards and envelopes for 2 dollars. The sentiment stamp was from the card making workshop that goes with the paper. The Border stamp is quite old called Abundance Borders. The washi tape is from CTMH and the bakers twine is from Maya Road.

Next up is a card following the Freshly Made Sketches sketch.
I also used Laughing Lola paper and the stamp that goes with it for this card. I used Lagoon Washi tape and the same bakers twine as the first card. Thanks for stopping by today! Do not forget it is still not to late to order from Kathy's party and you will be entered in the drawing for the stamp posted below.

Throw back Thursday and a little giveaway!

Does any one remember these? The little paperkins paper dolls that you could punch out with your punches? Well I just fell in love with them way back when and I started investing $ in buying the punches. I ended up spending way to much buying the little hair accessories and stuff. Then I started seeing them at the discount scrap stores and bought  a few more! I still think they are so cute and they work so well with a bunch of my Sizzix die cuts.

And one more fun pop up card!

Now for the giveaway! I have been happily punching out lots of paper dolls and clothes with all my scraps and this is what I have. Ten little bags of  paper doll goodness to share. I will send the first 10 people who comment on my blog a set. Email me your address after you comment to

Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Wishing for Spring-Wings layout

So I do not know about you guys but I am most definitely sick of this winter! I have been working on some spring and summer stuff to beat the winter blues. I used Wings paper (both the regular pack and the Creative basics pack) from CTMH for this layout. I also used Level 2 wings Assortment, Just Blooms Flutter, from CTMH and a Grunge Board letter from Tim Holtz. I used up some chipboard Irresistibles from another kit, and a tag from my stash. The stamps I used were: Miracle and Love Life. do not forget that you have until February 16th to order from Kathy's party and everyone who orders will get their name in a drawing fro the stamp posted below. Also make sure you check back here on Thursday for a little giveaway. Thanks for stopping by! Brenda

Artbooking layout for crop

I used my Artbooking Cartridge to cut out this entire layout! I know I am a little late getting mine, but better late than never. The paper I used was Claire. That is it! This layout was really easy since my Cricut did all the work and I saved all my negative paper thinking I can probably make another layout with it! Thanks for stopping by! Scrap Happy. Brenda

A layout using my Scrap Negative

My daughter had a friend over Friday and she wanted to make a sign for  a friend's locker. She just loves my Cricut and scrap room. It seems like all the girls Krista's age gravitate to my room and Krista gets frustrated. "No" she says, " do not get sucked into the vortex!" Too funny. Scraping is not a big deal to her because she can do it anytime, but most of these girls mom's do not scrapbook. So to make a long story short, I cut her out a base using my Art Philosophy cartridge and some Rob paper. What is Rob paper you say? My husband picked up a bunch of paper at a dollar store and brought it home for me. I pass out some to my girls when we have a party. Everyone knows about Rob paper. Sometimes you get cute paper and sometimes it is not so cute! So I had the negative parts sitting on my table and I started thinking that they would make a great page. I also used the CTMH stamp You Are My Happy-Icons and Sentiments, Two different Just Blooms flowers, some bling from my stash and Maya Road twine cording. I just love this picture of our Izzy as a puppy! Thanks for stopping by. Brenda
