Fall Banner with September Stamp of th Month

I made this banner for some one's birthday at work and I liked it so much I had to make one for myself!!! I used this months Stamp Of The Month called Fall Favorites, which you can still buy for a short time. http://brendamckerchie.ctmh.com   I also used the stamp called Natures Vein for the leaves.  I rock and rolled them and then used an embossing tool to make creases on the veins.  The paper is Abundance and I colored the scarecrow in with CTMH's new alcohol markers.  I really like the two colors you get in a package and how well it looks when you shade them together. the burlap is from Joann Fabrics.   I am super excited about how this turned out!

Super Hero Layout

I used a sketch from Basic Grey I found on facebook for this layout.   It is by Susan Strinfellow and she has a blog with tons of sketch ideas.  www.sketchsavvy.blogspot.com It is definitely worth checking it out. This picture of my son was on facebook and I loved it so much I saved it from his page and turned it into a black and white.  I really like it better this way because originally it had a yellow tone. The paper is Super Hero from Close To My Heart as well as the Badge Buttons Comic, and Dimensional Elements Stars embellishments. The stamps I used are SuperHero Workshop and Blue Ribbon. I would love to hear what you think of this layout.
I also made an 8 x8 page for his book and a couple of cards with some scraps.  The stamp for the cards was Super Powers. I think these papers work really well for boys and guy pages. P.S. I love you too Matt!  Thanks for stopping by!

Clementine Layout

I used the Workshop on the go kit ( Clementine ) for this layout.  I used the stamp set that went with it and the Cottage Assortment embellishments that came with it.  The burlap I got by the yard at JoAnn Fabrics.  I cut the Title out with my Cricut using the Old West cartridge.  That cartrige goes so well with this paper and the Dakota paper.  The color is really bad in these pictures but the layout turned out super cute.  I hope you are getting to do some crafting this week.  I am working over time but am looking forward to a vacation and Scrap Camp coming up soon!  Thanks for stopping by.

Stella layout

So I have to admit that the Stella paper pack was not on my favorites list but it is starting to grow on me.  I think it is okay as long as I use the busy papers in small doses.  I saw this layout online and really liked it so I scraplifted it.  You can find the original on The Twilight Stamper blog by Justine Hovey.  I also used the Bohemian assortment, Complements Canvas Shapes Sheet Stella and my Art Philosophy Cartridge.  This is going to be another busy week with overtime at work so I am scheduling my post.  Thanks for stopping by and I love hearing from you. Ethan's card

I made these cards thinking of my nephew Ethan for his birthday but I made a couple extra. The paper is something I had in my stash and I used up the entire sheet.  That was the idea when I made so many was to use all the paper. The stamp is a CTMH stamp called Roar.

I think is works nice for a little boy.

Do not forget to post on my blog that you saw this when you order from Becky's party to get in on the drawing for this stamp. Also you can still get in on the double stamp deal for 5 dollars when you spend 35 dollars all this month.  this has been a busy month. We just went on our last camping trip for the summer and next week I have to do a lot of overtime but I am hoping to get crafty real soon. Also just a note to everyone who goes to Scrap Camp at Son-Life.  They changed the dates!  It is now October 26 -27!  Scrap Happy!
