Studio J layout

It has been a busy week. School is out and my daughter is starting a summer polo class. I am so proud of her. She is one of the youngest kids on a high school co ed team and she is giving it her all. She said one of the high school boys she was pressing just flicked her off like a fly! The bad thing about this is it means broken sleep for me. Next week I will be doing my new job as a fill in for vacations with 12 hours part of the week. Lucky for me I still have some Studio J layouts to share that I did a while  ago when they were having that promotion. For this layout I went back to my pictures on my flash drive and took pictures of different years of Christmas. I love how you can see how my family has change. Since I have already scrapbooked these photos Studio J allowed me to back track very easily with out a trip to get photos developed. Thanks for stopping by Scrap Happy!

Fathers Day Card

There is actually a few cards and my goal when I was working on these was to use my Tim Holtz embossing folders from Sizzix. I do not use these fun folders near enough! I am planning on entering this card in the Simon Says! challenge blog under masculine/Father's day    I am not sure if I can make it work on my computer so we will see. I also used Tim Holtz Mini Paper Rosettes die. The stamp is from Close To My Heart, Perfect Fit -dad as well as some Cruising paper. the tag I cut out with my Art Philosophy cartridge but I never made anything with it. I had it in my scraps so I was happy to use it. Lastly I used some CTMH ric-rac.  Thanks for stopping by. Scrap Happy

Mini Album with FanFare

I made this album with my Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.
I cut one each of all 8 pieces and then I cut and extra one (accent 1 shift) to decorate the cover. Then were all cut at 4" which will still fit on my little Cricut.

I had a pile of extra stuff (mistakes, and wrong size) that matched this paper and I used a bunch of it to decorate the album.

The stamps I used were: Good Times, Capture The Date, Art Philosophy Stamp, Life Is Sweet, and You Are... I also used some Maya Road Bakers twine. Thanks for stopping by and Scrap Happy!

Clementine Card

Well it HAS been one of those days! I decided this was a good day to post this card. I am learning a new job at work and that is a little stressful. Plus I just can not seem to find any energy the past couple of days. The weather is beautiful and I have lots of new scrap supplies but for some reason I can not find any get-up-and-go!  Sigh! This card was made with the Clementine paper and workshop stamp.I also used some burlap I bought at Hobby Lobby. I am hoping you are getting loads of thing done at your house today but I am still trying to talk myself into mowing the lawn.  Scrap Happy (  maybe I will just look at the stuff I already made today LOL)

Sympathy card

This card was inspired (lifted) by Brenda  http://craftingwithjoanie.blogspot.com .  They always have such creative ideas.  This is a great card for a man. I again had to make a sympathy card. :-( The stamps are: Card Chatter-Sympathy, The Gifts Of Love, and Universal backgrounds. The embroidery floss actually came from my mom's stuff. I found it while I was cleaning out her  sewing room for my dad so I am always happy when I can use a little of that. Thanks for stopping by.

Party Project 2

This side is my favorite. The paper is Grace-Simply Snapshots.  We used Foundry binder Clips, but we pulled the pin out and smashed the back down so you could use both sides( two for the price of one) and it was not so thick. Thanks Gloria Rogers for the idea. the stamp was Home Sweet Home. I also used Maya Road bakes Twine-Watermelon, Hobby Lobby bling, and we made flowers cut from the Art Philosophy Cartridge. Lastly we added a faux Pearl to the tag. Thanks for stopping by.  Scrap Happy!

Party Project

Here is the project we made at my party. It has two sides so you can see the other side in the next post. i had some 9 x 9 page protectors and we made these to hang on a wall or possibly give away as a gift. All my girls said " No way we worked to hard to give these away".  The paper is Simply Snapshots-Floral Tapestry. ( A retired paper to coordinate with the 9 x 9 page protectors. I also used Dream Pops paper, Maya Road Bakers Twine- Watermelon and recollections bling on a roll. The stamps are: Cricut Artiste Kudos, and Perfect Fit-Dads Holiday. We hung it up with CTMH photo hangers.
