Boom-Di-Ada birthday card.

Okay here is another card made with the Boom-Di-Ada paper!  The stamps I used are Universal Back Grounds, and one of the sets that comes with the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I cut some Flowers with that cartridge and added some bling.

Boom-Di-Ada cards

I am still working on using up this paper pack! The stamp set is the Friendship Bouquet and Universal Backgrounds.   I used a blending pen to color the flower.  I got the idea for this card from a CTMH consultant on the eyecandy facebook page but I can not remember her name. One of the card bases was cut out with my sizzix die.  I hope you are all enjoying your summer and getting a little crafting in.

Boom-Di-Ada layout

The very first paper pack I ever bought from Close To My Heart was Boom-Di-Ada and I still have some.  I love this paper pack but have decided it is time to use it up.  So my focus this week is trying to use what I have left. (I added some card stock with the patterned paper)  I scraplifted the layout from Magic page 122- Final Act.  I also used Top Coats Framed which is in the while supplies last list right now for one dollar!  http;//brendamkerchie.myctmh.com/  I used craft clear buttons (also on that list) and my accents Topiary.  the stamp set was Bohemian Alphabet

Boom-Di-Ada cards

For these cards I used a dollar store stamp( all natural beauty).  While I like the stamp I had trouble getting it off the backing and it actually ripped when I took it off!  :-(  I was able to "stick" it back together on the block and the image still turned out.  One more reason i think CTMH is the best.  The other stamps I used were Universal Backgrounds and TreasureLife.  The paper is Boom-Di-Ada.I really liked the way the circle turned out with the CTMH stamp in the background with the other one on top!
I did a quick 8x8 layout with all the same stamps.  Working on using up this paper pack!

Grad card with Sweetheart

I love the 3-d flowers you can make with the  Art Philosophy cartridge but I hate that they will not fit in an envelope. So when I sat down to make a graduation card for an event we would be going to (hand deliver = no envelope required) and for a girl I knew just what I wanted to do!
\
I used the Sweet Heart paper pack.  The stamps I used were: Potential-March stamp of the month, Backgrounds and Borders, and Frames Tags and Borders.  The card was cut with my new Sizzix die cut I got for my birthday with my Hobby Lobby gift card. ( Thanks again Becky and Kathy) The graduation cap was also a Sizzix die cut and I sanded the embossing to make it show better.  I made a little envelope inside with my cricut ( Art Philosophy again- used a small card p.40) to hold the cash since I will not be putting this in an envelope.   I also used Stickles to add some glitter.

After I got all done I decided to add a little bling.  I used my Hobby lobby bulk stuff and the yarn is from my stash.  I can not wait to give this card to the graduate!
